What is gbag?

gbag provides an environmentally friendly solution for keeping litter where it belongs while being pretty, and reusable.

Garbage is one of my pet peeves.

I'd like to think that it's carelessness and not intention that garbage ends up along our roadsides and in public places. But maybe, if everyone had a gbag, it wouldn't happen anymore!

I also couldn't stand the garbage stuck in the map pocket of my car door, and I couldn't find something cool enough to hang in my car so, gbag was created!

I started sewing in 2011 on the dining room table. I used fabric I had on hand and created a number of prototypes before landing on a design that works well. The vinyl lining was a must in order to eliminate the plastic bag or insert. I've been perfecting my bag design ever since.

It is gbag’s mission to end roadside litter! To that end I have adopted two sections of Hwy 126 between Redmond and Sisters in Central Oregon. I also make a $1.00 donation to SOLVE for every gbag sold.

Thank you for choosing gbag and your efforts to end roadside litter!

Waste Not

g-rolls (gorgeous utensil rolls) were born from the scrap of fabric that is left over from a yard once I’ve made the best use of it to create gbags. On one of our roadside cleanups, we gathered no fewer than 50 plastic forks. It was as if a box of them had been sprinkled down the highway. Utensil rolls are a great way to say “no” to the plastic offered by grab and go places or to take your own utensils to work. Throw one in your glove box and purse or backpack and never use plastic utensils again.
